Do a complete uninstall of the GoTo Opener, then try joining or starting a session again.

This will help the browser properly detect whether the GoTo Opener is installed on your computer.

Clear your web browser cache and try joining or starting the session again.

If you encounter an issue when launching a meeting on your macOS desktop, you can click Download in Browser to manually download the GoToMeeting.dmg file to your computer, then run the app to install the software and join again.

If you encounter an issue when launching a meeting on your Windows desktop, you can click Download to manually download the g2minstallerextractor.exe file to your computer, then run the EXE to install the software and join again.

This will prompt the GoTo Opener file to download again, which you can then open and run to continue being launched into session.

If you are stuck on the Opener page, click the Download & Run link.

If the app is taking a long time to download through the normal flow (or if you are encountering download or join issues), you can try these troubleshooting steps.

From that point on, the GoTo Opener will run automatically and launch you into your sessions quickly and seamlessly (unless you clear your browser cache or uninstall the app).

Be sure to enable the 'remember this setting' option before continuing.

Then second time that you join or start a session, your web browser will detect the presence of the GoTo Opener on your computer and ask you for permission to launch it for you.

The first time that you join or start a session using GoToMeeting, the GoTo Opener app will be automatically installed.

Note that the newest version of this 'helper' application is named the 'GoTo Opener' app, but it previously was known under another name. It will also run each time you join or start a session in order to connect you to your LogMeIn service. When you install the GoToMeeting software, this app is automatically installed on your computer as well. This application is known as the GoTo Opener app. GoToMeeting uses a 'helper' application to launch you into active sessions.

There will be a way for participants to view recorded sessions at the end of the workshop.

When the session is done you can exit out of that meeting room and join other meeting rooms.

If there is an open discussion, the organizer will allow attendees to unmute their phones.

Please use the chat box to ask the presenter questions, interact with the working group chair and other working group attendees.

You will have the option to self-mute to avoid potentially interrupting the presenter.

VoIP is more likely to drop off the meeting.

MORS strongly encourages you to join the meeting via your phone.

If you are interested in downloading the app, please select “Download the App.”.

If you have already downloaded the GoTo Meeting app, a pop up will appear, like below.

(Remember: JOIN MY MEETING will require you to download the GoTo meeting software onto your hard drive.) Please click which option works for your computer.

When you click your designated GoTo meeting link, an internet window will pop up.

You DO NOT need a GoTo meeting account to download the free software or to join the meeting via the browser option.

If you join using the browser, you won’t need to download any external software. There are two ways to join GoTo meeting: either by downloading the app (also known as the GoTo Opener) or by joining in your web browser.Please reference the agenda to identify which GoTo Meeting room you should join.
